Heading home along the Kamilaroi Highway, we decided to break up the drive with a stop in Gunnedah, a charming regional town known as the "Koala Capital of the World."

First priority was breakfast to fuel the rest of the journey. We found a great little café in town where we could relax and enjoy a good coffee and a fresh meal before hitting the road again.

After breakfast, we took the opportunity to visit Gunnedah's Silo Art, an impressive piece celebrating the region’s agricultural heritage and vibrant community spirit. The towering artwork, featuring stunning depictions of rural life, really brings a sense of pride and creativity to the town — well worth the short detour.

With full bellies, a few more photos in the camera, and a relaxed pace, we continued on our journey home, reflecting on another memorable adventure.
