Off Highway Camp

Cocklebiddy

Off Highway Camp – Cocklebiddy is a simple bush-style rest area just off the Eyre Highway, offering travellers a quiet spot to break up the long Nullarbor run. Set among low scrub and limestone country, it gives caravans and campers plenty of space to spread out away from highway noise.

There are no facilities, making it best suited to self-contained setups, but the open skies, stillness, and rugged landscape create a classic outback atmosphere. It’s a practical, no-frills stopover where you can rest, reset, and enjoy the isolation that defines this part of Western Australia.

The site is on the road to the Eyre Bird Observatory
