Mason Bay Campground

Mason Bay

Mason Bay Campground is a quiet, coastal camping spot situated near Jerdacuttup in Western Australia’s southern Wheatbelt and Great Southern region. Set along the shores of Mason Bay, the site offers a peaceful and natural environment with open sandy beaches, dunes, and native bushland, perfect for travellers seeking solitude and a back-to-nature experience.

The campground is basic and unpowered, ideal for tents, camper trailers, and self-contained caravans. Facilities are minimal—usually just space for camping and perhaps a picnic table—so visitors need to bring their own water, food, and camping essentials.

It’s a great stop for fishing, beachcombing, birdwatching, and enjoying the calm coastal scenery of WA’s south coast, making it a tranquil escape for overnight or short stays.
