Walkerville Foreshore Camping Reserve is a serene coastal retreat nestled along the western edge of Waratah Bay in Walkerville North, Victoria. Spanning approximately 1 kilometer of beachfront, the reserve offers campers a unique blend of seaside tranquility and natural bushland beauty.​

Campsite Features

  • Accommodation Options: The reserve boasts 128 camping sites, both powered and unpowered, suitable for tents, caravans, and campervans. Additionally, there are two bungalows (sites 34 & 37) that can accommodate up to four people each. ​
  • Facilities: Campers have access to amenities including toilets, hot showers, laundry facilities, picnic areas with gas barbecues, a children's playground, and a kiosk for basic supplies. ​
  • Accessibility: The campground is accessible via sealed roads, and some facilities are wheelchair-friendly. ​
  • Booking Information: All accommodations must be pre-booked through the reserve's online booking system. Peak periods, such as the Christmas and Easter holidays, are particularly popular, so early reservations are recommended. ​

  • Fire Restrictions: During the declared Fire Danger Period, typically from December to April, all forms of open fires, including solid fuel barbecues and fire pits, are prohibited. ​

  • Water Supply: While water is available on-site, it is recommended that campers bring their own drinking water or treat the available water before consumption.
