Princetown Recreation Reserve and Camping is a serene and affordable campground nestled along the iconic Great Ocean Road in Victoria, Australia. Located just 6 kilometers east of the renowned Twelve Apostles, this reserve offers a prime base for exploring the natural wonders of the region.​

Accommodation & Facilities

The reserve provides both powered and unpowered grassy sites suitable for tents, caravans, and campervans. Facilities include clean amenities with hot showers, toilets, a camp kitchen, undercover BBQ areas, a laundry, and a children's playground. Campfires are permitted in designated fire bins, and pets are welcome year-round, provided they are kept on a leash within the campground. ​

Natural Setting & Activities

Situated adjacent to the Gellibrand River and near the Princetown Wetlands, the reserve offers opportunities for fishing, canoeing, and wildlife observation, including frequent sightings of kangaroos grazing nearby. The campground also connects to the final section of the Great Ocean Walk, leading to the Twelve Apostles, making it ideal for hikers and nature enthusiasts. ​
