However, by the mid-20th century, the town had nearly faded into obscurity. Recent revitalization efforts have transformed Milparinka into a heritage hub, preserving its colonial architecture and historical narratives. ​

The Milparinka Heritage Precinct encompasses over 20 restored sites and interpretive spaces:​

• Milparinka Courthouse: Designed by colonial architect James Barnet in 1896, this sandstone building now serves as a local history center. ​
• Police Barracks and Cells: Dating back to 1885, these structures offer insights into law enforcement during the gold rush era. ​
• Malyangapa Cultural Heritage Room: Located within the courthouse, this space honors the region's Indigenous heritage. ​
• Archive Centre: Housing family history materials, photographs, and artifacts, it provides a resource for genealogical research. ​
• Harry Blore Dark Sky Park: An ideal spot for stargazing, offering views of the Milky Way and constellations through the lens of Aboriginal culture. ​
