Kyffins Reserve

Mulwala

Kyffins Reserve, situated along the tranquil shores of Lake Mulwala in New South Wales, offers a serene bush camping experience ideal for nature lovers and those seeking a peaceful retreat. Located approximately 4 km east of Mulwala township, the reserve is accessible via Corowa Road and Spring Drive. ​

Natural Beauty & Wildlife

The reserve boasts over one kilometre of shoreline, providing ample space for campers to set up amidst the shade of river red gums. A notable feature is the 3 km walking track that begins at Owen Bridge Reserve, hugging the lake and offering opportunities for birdwatching and enjoying the local flora and fauna. ​

Recreational Activities

Kyffins Reserve is a popular spot for fishing enthusiasts. Anglers can expect to catch species such as Murray Cod and Golden Perch. The calm waters of Lake Mulwala are also suitable for kayaking and other non-motorized water activities. ​

Camping Information

Facilities: The reserve offers free camping; however, there are no facilities available. Campers should be self-sufficient, bringing their own water, toilets, and other necessities. ​

Stay Limit: Visitors can camp for up to 14 days within a three-month period. ​

Accessibility: The area is accessible to tents, camper trailers, caravans, and motorhomes. Some sites are suitable for big rigs. ​

Pet-Friendly: Dogs are permitted but should be kept under control at all times. ​

Getting There

From Mulwala, head southeast on Erne Street towards Hume Street. Turn left onto Melbourne Street, which becomes Corowa Road. Continue on Corowa Road, then turn onto Spring Drive to reach the reserve.
