Knorrit Flat Riverside Camp is a serene, family-friendly campground nestled along 400 meters of the Nowendoc River in the upper Manning Valley, approximately 50 km west of Taree, New South Wales. Accessible via a sealed, winding road, the journey to Knorrit Flat offers ever-changing landscapes, culminating in a picturesque setting surrounded by big hills, spectacular valleys, and ancient fig trees .

Campground Features

Spacious Sites: The campground spans 17 hectares, offering large, grassy, and mostly level sites measuring at least 20m x 20m. These sites are suitable for tents, campervans, caravans, and trailers, providing ample space for families and groups .

Unpowered Camping: All sites are unpowered, allowing campers to enjoy a more traditional and rustic camping experience .

Amenities: Facilities include hot showers, flushing toilets. There are no lights so take a torch when you visit at night.

Firepits: There are fire pits at each site. They are sunken, so can be a hazard when walking around at night. Easy to fall into.

Shelter: A shelter shed with tables and seating is available for communal use.

Pet-Friendly: Dogs are welcome, making it convenient for pet owners to enjoy the outdoors with their furry companions .

River Access: The Nowendoc River offers deep and shallow areas suitable for swimming, canoeing, tubing, and fishing. The river's clear waters and gentle rapids provide fun for all ages .
