Goodooga Bore Baths offer a serene and rejuvenating retreat in the heart of Outback New South Wales. Situated on the edge of the small village of Goodooga, these modern artesian springs provide an ideal stop for travelers seeking relaxation, wellness, and a unique camping experience.​

Therapeutic Artesian Waters

Opened in 2019, the Goodooga Bore Baths are fed by the Great Artesian Basin, delivering mineral-rich waters that maintain a constant temperature of 40°C. These naturally heated waters are renowned for their therapeutic benefits, including improved blood circulation, stress reduction, pain relief, and skin healing properties. The facility features a fully wheelchair-accessible pool with a gentle sloping entrance, ensuring inclusivity for all visitors. ​

Free Camping & Facilities

Adjacent to the baths is a spacious, free camping area that welcomes caravans, camper trailers, and motorhomes. While the site is unpowered, it offers a range of amenities to enhance your stay:​

The facility is open 24 hours a day during the tourist season (March to November), allowing visitors to enjoy the baths at their convenience. ​

Getting There

Goodooga is located approximately 130 kilometers north of Brewarrina, 70 kilometers northwest of Lightning Ridge, and just 20 minutes from the Queensland border. The baths are situated on Queensland Street, easily accessible via sealed roads.
