Abstobys Retreat features three grassed campsites suitable for tents and small RVs (up to 20 feet), along with a cozy glamping tent for those seeking a touch of comfort. Campers can enjoy a communal retreat shelter equipped with a fireplace and BBQ area. While guests are encouraged to be self-contained, the retreat provides access to tank rainwater for drinking, a camping porta loo, and a hot shower for those without their own facilities.

Situated by a tidal outlet to Port Stephens Harbour, the retreat offers ample opportunities for fishing, kayaking, and wildlife observation. The surrounding area boasts coastal landscapes and wetlands, perfect for biking and hiking enthusiasts.

Pet-Friendly & Family-Oriented

Pets are welcome at Abstobys Retreat but must be kept on a leash at all times. Children under 16 stay for free, making it an ideal spot for family getaways. Guests are advised to supervise young children near the water and to bring mosquito repellent due to the proximity to wetlands.

Campfires & Guidelines Campfires are permitted in designated fire pits when there are no fire restrictions in place. Guests should bring their own firewood and adhere to safety guidelines.
