After some rain overnight and a few chats with the locals in White Cliffs, we decided to change our plans. Rather than head straight across to the Silver City Highway and risk the muddy roads, we took the longer way around — better safe than sorry.
Along the way, we passed through White Cliffs again, then continued on to Broken Hill, before making a quick stop at Packsaddle.
By late afternoon, we arrived at Milparinka, which will be our home for the next two nights.
