We spent the day exploring the historic outback town of Milparinka, soaking up its rich history and rugged charm.
Milparinka is small but full of character, with beautifully preserved stone buildings dating back to the gold rush days. We wandered through the Heritage Precinct, visiting the old courthouse, police station, and jail — each offering a glimpse into the tough lives of the early settlers who called this remote area home.
The surrounding landscape was just as fascinating — endless open spaces, red earth, and a big, endless sky. It's easy to see why this place has a special kind of magic. We enjoyed the slower pace, the friendly locals, and the peacefulness that you only find in places like this.
It was one of those days that reminds you why taking the time to explore these quieter corners of Australia is so rewarding.
