We started the morning with a coffee at Burren Junction, soaking up the quiet before getting back on the road.
Leaving Burren Junction, we travelled a rough, pothole-riddled back road to Collarenebri to check out the brand-new artesian bore baths, which had only opened the day before. Along the way, we spotted a crop duster at work and caught glimpses of local wildlife — a real taste of the countryside.
From there, we continued on to the Goodooga Great Artesian Baths, where we camped for the night alongside dozens of other travellers. Despite the crowd at the campground, the baths themselves never felt too busy — although the water was certainly hot, with some saying it hit around 40°C! A perfect way to end another great day on the road.
